Can I have __________?

Stop trying to WORK AROUND the list. Keep it simple and FOLLOW THE LIST. If you are serious about losing weight, you will stick with what is on the list. You will do great! 

Do I need Facebook to do a challenge or get support?

To be very honest with you, the answer would be yes, you really do need Face Book to "do" the challenge or be a part of a custom program. It is all done on FB. Every day of the 30 day challenge, Cristy or Cari and Cristy come live to us with educational information, teaching - etc. With a custom program, all of your accountability and support is on your coach's page.

We have several "high profile" people who want to remain anonymous therefore they have created fake/pseudonym FB accounts (judges, lawyers, doctors etc). That has seemed to work for them. Something you might want to consider.

I don't know your personal reasons for not wanting to be on face book, but I can tell you this, Cristy, the Leaders and Coaches all closely monitor the pages something fierce and they don't allow drama! It is a positive and very encouraging group. You will really enjoy the pages and will gain tons of encouragement from being a part of the community. 

Why do I feel bad or like I have the flu?

            This is COMPLETELY normal as you detox off of the sugar and processed foods. This is your body getting rid of the poisons and here are some things that will help…. Get extra sleep and DON'T skimp on water or salt. You will need both! Stay strong! It doesn't last forever! 

        Is it normal/okay to lose weight this fast?

In the beginning, your body is ridding itself of toxins and extra water weight. Your body is learning to use FAT as fuel and this is a good thing! 

        What do I do if I don't like vegetables?

    Learn to LOVE them! Try new ones. Once you start getting off the processed foods, you will find that your taste buds will change and you will enjoy REAL food. Give it another chance and give it some time! 

What is an NSV?

NSV stands for Non-Scale Victory. This is when something good happens with your weight loss but not necessarily the scale going down. For instance: clothes fit better, sleeping better, feeling better. 

What's the difference between Code Red and keto?

This is a great question! Traditional Keto focuses on a very extreme process of getting "into ketosis". They use shakes, pills, powders, test strips etc…. We do not believe in all of this chemical baloney. There is no balance. CODE RED believes in balance. We take a more holistic/entire body approach to weight loss. We believe in eating real food (not just meat and fat). We believe in eating veggies with every meal. We believe in drinking water to flush out toxins and chemicals and to hydrate your cells. We also believe in getting good sleep. Although CODE RED uses the principles of "nutritional ketosis" to help people rid themselves of unwanted pounds, we are very far from traditional keto thinking. 

I am vegan/vegetarian. Can I do Code Red?

YES! We have had many many rebels who have successfully completed the program and lost weight/feel great eating vegan/vegetarian. You will need to reach out for help (we are here for you) if you need assistance. We love our plant-based clients! 

I had weight loss surgery. Can I do Code Red?

YES! We have helped many people status post gastric surgery (all variations) lose weight forever. The problem with weight loss surgery is that it doesn't address the REAL problems regarding weight loss. We get right to the heart of the matter here at CODE RED.

About the Instructor
Cristy “Code Red” Nickel is an author, speaker, and celebrity nutritionist. Since 1994, she has helped tens of thousands lose weight by eating real food, drinking water, and sleeping. 

In 2003, Cristy was ranked #2 in the world as a professional boxer, and she was named one of the “Top 3 Most Dangerous Females on the Planet” by The Ring magazine, which landed her a coaching role on MTV’s hit series MADE.

 In 2008, Cristy was awarded “New York’s Best Trainer” by Allure magazine.

Before Creating the Code Red Revolution...

Cristy has been in the health and fitness industry since 1994. While studying Exercise Science at the University of Memphis, Cristy competed in 3 NPC Figure competitions, placing in the top 5 at each show.

In 2003, Cristy became a federally licensed professional boxer and fought in 15 professional fights all over the world. She was named one of the “Top 3 Most Dangerous Females on the Planet” by Ring Magazine, which landed her a coaching role on MTV’s hit series “MADE.” The success of that show propelled her to New York City to train top celebrities, business tycoons, models and professional athletes. In 2008, Cristy was awarded “New York’s Best Trainer,” by Allure Magazine.

Cristy retired from boxing in 2010 and launched the Code Red Lifestyle™. Her custom-written nutrition programs have helped thousands of people all over the world lose weight and take their lives back without shakes, diet pills, diet foods, or exercise.

Cristy lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband, Miles, and dog, Annabelle. She has a passion for running, mountain biking, snowboarding, yoga, and nutrition. She is working to bring the Code Red Lifestyle™ to policemen, firemen, and EMS workers via Code Red Protocol, and to put an end to childhood obesity with Code Red Kids.
